The ordination package is as advertised but the response to my request for the Articles of Incorporation required for the City of NY is insufficient. I requested a copy but was given an answer to an entirely different question that I didn't ask.

Michael, Since every county has different requirements for the minister registration, many states will require that you have your Ordination Credential and Letter of Good Standing as proof of your ordination with our ministry. In most cases these will suffice for registration needs.

There are however a few counties that have very specific requirements and they require these specialized Letters of Good Standing for ministerial registration; these states include: Hawaii, New York, West Virginia, and Clark County (Las Vegas, Nevada).

The county clerk in New York requires this Special Letter of Good Standing to Solemnize Marriages (http://www.open-ministry.org/open-ministry-letter-consent-york-city-p-79.html) to register as a Wedding Officiant.

The NYC letter contains the information, articles & and our required paperwork that is needed by the county clerk to register and your specific question was answered in our response.

I was extremely happy with the ordination package and the very quick response to my order. I received the package much sooner than I expected and it is very professional looking. I will be performing my very first wedding ceremony on Aug. 2 for a very dear friend, who asked me if I would become ordained for their ceremony.

The only thing I did not receive was "minister handout and sample ceremony.

The ministry seals make the wedding documents look so professional. I am very happy with Open Ministry's documents and ease of becoming ordained.

I did not like the marriage certificate so ordered something that was
more to my liking from another source.

I am very pleased with Open Ministries service and the ordination package materials. I will hopefully be preforming a wedding ceremony in September for two of my dearest friends. Well worth the money, the package contains nearly everything a new minister might need. The material in the package is of fine quality paper and is very professional looking.

I am very impressed with the Ordination Package! Professional Quality paper, sturdy card stock and Presentation ready! The Ordination certificate looks great framed and the Letter of Good Standing with the seal and Notary endorsement shows credibility and brought some very positive comments not only from our County Clerks Office but also from a couple of fellow ministers!
I failed to order the Wallet Card when I ordered and had to order it separate. The Wallet card is very nicely done, plastic and comes in very handy.
My advice would be to get it along with the Ordination Package. All together it is a MUST have package and I am sure you will be as impressed as I.
